Issue Position

Mike Hill is not afraid to confront a government that has become too big and too powerful. As a past president of the Northwest Florida Tea Party, Mike is a watchdog for out of control politicians and wasteful spending. Mike stands out in our community not only as fearless leader for limited government, but as the first black Republican man to serve in the Florida Legislature since the Reconstruction.

Mike has shown he won't line up with Tallahassee insiders and give tax dollars away for corporate welfare, or to allow taxpayers to be abused or defrauded through wasteful spending projects. Mike will continue to stand up for taxpayers, and fight to restore government's place as a protector of freedoms, not a provider of special benefits for the powerful and oppressive rules for the rest of us.
